Former PTI Leaders Launch Political Outreach for Imran Khan’s Release

Former leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have decided to initiate political outreach efforts aimed at securing the release of party founder Imran Khan, sources revealed on Saturday.

According to details, the inside story of Friday’s meeting between the former PTI leaders and Shah Mehmood Qureshi has now come to light. During the discussions, the group resolved to contact other political parties and influential figures in an attempt to reduce political polarization and pave the way for Khan’s release.

The coordination team formed for this mission includes Fawad Chaudhry, Imran Ismail, Ali Zaidi, Mahmood Maulvi, and Sibtain Khan, among others.

Sources said the former PTI leaders are expected to hold meetings with leaders from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) as well as with the PTI founder himself, to explore avenues for political reconciliation.

“The focus is on lowering the political temperature and finding ways to resolve the current standoff,” an insider said.

Additionally, the group met with Ijaz Chaudhry, Mian Mahmood-ur-Rasheed, and Umar Sarfraz Cheema to discuss the prevailing political situation in the country.

Analysts believe the move signifies a growing realization within former PTI circles of the need for dialogue amid an increasingly tense political climate.
