Maulana Fazlur Rehman, chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), has issued a formal directive to the party’s National Assembly members regarding a proposed constitutional amendment currently under discussion in the assembly.
The JUI chief stated that the issue had previously been deliberated during the parliamentary party meeting. After thorough consideration of all aspects of the proposed amendment, the party has decided to oppose it.
In his directive, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, speaking as both Ameer of JUI(F) and Parliamentary Leader in the National Assembly, instructed all JUI(F) members to vote against the amendment when it is presented.
This move signals a unified stance by the party on constitutional matters and emphasizes its commitment to parliamentary strategy and internal consensus.
