POLITICS & POLICY MAKING
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah reaffirmed the province’s unity with Pakistan and expressed confidence in the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) political vision during a convention of party workers on Friday.
Addressing the gathering, Shah said, “Sindh is a part of Pakistan, and no one can divide it.” He emphasized that the PPP has the capability to turn dreams into reality, adding that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will become the Prime Minister of Pakistan, and then everyone will witness the party’s vision in action.
Commenting on recent protests, Shah remarked that the number of protesters in Sindh does not exceed 50, yet their actions are blocking roads and causing difficulties for citizens. He noted that it is the role of lawyers to give arguments in courts, and political protests should not disrupt daily life. He described the protesters as friends of Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) who have come to the political arena to protest.
Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Shah inaugurated the Sindh Craft Festival, visiting various stalls and encouraging local artisans. The festival showcased a range of traditional crafts, highlighting Sindh’s rich cultural heritage.
Shah’s statements and participation in the festival come amid heightened political activity in Sindh, reinforcing both the province’s cultural pride and the PPP’s political ambitions.
