The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a reduction in the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), providing relief to consumers as winter approaches.
According to a notification issued by OGRA, the price of LPG has been reduced by Rs 5.88 per kilogram, effective November 1, 2025.
Following this reduction, the price of an 11.8 kg domestic LPG cylinder has decreased by Rs 69.44, bringing the new rate to Rs 2,378.89 per cylinder.
The new price of LPG per kilogram now stands at Rs 201.60.
The price cut is expected to provide relief to households that rely on LPG for cooking and heating, particularly in areas without access to piped natural gas.
Energy experts believe that this reduction may help curb inflationary pressure on essential commodities and ease the financial burden on consumers, especially with winter demand expected to rise in the coming months.
OGRA reviews and revises LPG prices monthly based on international market trends, exchange rate fluctuations, and freight adjustments.
