POLITICS & POLICY MAKING
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan was granted permission to meet his sister Uzma Khan at Adiala Jail, officials confirmed. Other sisters, Aleema Khan and Noreen Niazi, along with PTI leaders, were reportedly not allowed to meet him.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Uzma Khan stated that her brother is in good health. She expressed relief at being able to meet him amid restrictions that had kept family and party members away.
Sources revealed that the meeting was facilitated through the contacts of PTI leader Barrister Gohar. According to reports, Barrister Gohar initially requested to meet Imran Khan but insisted that his sisters had priority, which helped break the deadlock in arranging the visit.
This development comes amid ongoing concerns about the PTI founder’s well-being and the limited access granted to his family and party members.
