Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir held a high-level meeting with the Turkish Minister of Energy, focusing on deepening cooperation between Pakistan and Turkey in the energy sector and other areas of mutual interest.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the discussions highlighted various aspects of the strategic partnership between the two countries, with both sides reiterating their commitment to expanding cooperation for peace, stability, and development in the region.
Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasized the long-standing brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkey, expressing gratitude to the Turkish leadership and people for their continuous support, including strong diplomatic backing at international forums.
The Turkish Minister of Energy expressed interest in enhancing technical cooperation and investment in Pakistan’s energy sector, while appreciating Pakistan’s ongoing efforts toward regional stability and sustainable development.
The meeting also explored opportunities for technology exchange, new investment prospects, and initiatives aimed at strengthening bilateral relations. Both sides expressed optimism that collaborative efforts would continue to promote development and stability in the region.
