ANP rejects election results, demands thorough examination

The Awami National Party (ANP) has rejected the results of the February 8 general elections, with provincial president Aimal Wali Khan demanding a thorough examination of all constituencies where ANP candidates finished as runners-up.

Addressing a press conference at Bacha Khan Markaz, Khan expressed dissatisfaction with the electoral process, alleging rigging and manipulation.

He claimed that winners were unable to advocate for the rights of Pakhtunkhwa and accused the establishment of influencing the formation of a puppet government in the province.

Khan asserted that the ANP would continue to voice against alleged irregularities, warning of street protests if their demands for a review were not met, and emphasized the party's commitment to serving the Pakhtun nation through a forthcoming movement.
