In a shocking turn of events during the general elections, several prominent figures from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) faced defeat and expulsion from parliament.

Notable losses include Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Sheikh Rohail Asghar, Mian Nauman, and Rana Mashhood in Lahore constituencies. In Gujranwala, Khurram Dastgir, considered a stronghold for the PML-N, was defeated in NA-78.

Other significant defeats include Rana Sanaullah in Faisalabad's NA-100, Abid Sher Ali in Faisalabad's NA-102, Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha in Sargodha's NA-83, and Burgess Tahir in Nankana's NA-111.

Even PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif faced disappointment, failing to secure victory in NA-15 Mansehra. These unexpected outcomes mark a major upset for the PML-N in the election results.
