Pervaiz khattak says he is not leaving politics amid general elections, just want a break

Pervaiz Khattak, the chief of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians (PTIP), has refuted recent rumors surrounding his departure from politics following the nationwide general elections on February 8.

Khattak categorically denied claims of quitting the party or retiring from politics, emphasizing that such reports were baseless and misleading.

Despite facing defeat in the elections, where the PTIP secured only two seats in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Khattak expressed gratitude for the recognition of his contributions by the people and reaffirmed his dedication to public service.

He clarified that there was no truth to the rumors about his withdrawal from politics or departure from the party, acknowledging the election results with humility and accepting the decision made by the electorate. It's noteworthy that Khattak had previously formed a separate faction named PTI Parliamentarians after parting ways with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) last year.
