PML-N has emerged as the single largest party in the National Assembly, Ishaq Dar

Ishaq Dar, a leader of the Muslim League (N), has asserted that winning independent candidates in the general elections have pledged support to the PML-N.

Dar, speaking to a private TV channel, revealed that numerous victorious candidates have contacted them, and within the next 72 hours, an official announcement is expected. He emphasized the constitutional requirement for independent candidates to join a party within this timeframe.

Dar expressed the PML-N's reluctance to compel anyone to join but highlighted the party's majority status in Punjab.

He noted the delay in election results and warned that without the support of independent candidates, specific seats may be at risk.

Dar also cited Nawaz Sharif's commitment to inclusive governance and asserted the PML-N's emerging dominance in both the National and Punjab Assemblies, dismissing the likelihood of an independent candidate surpassing their success.

Additionally, he praised Bilawal Bhutto's father for his adept management of independent candidates. In a social media post, Dar further emphasized the party's growing influence based on election results and data from the Muslim League (N)'s election cell.
