18 Indian Nationals Sent Back Amid Suspension of PSL Broadcast by Indian Company

18 Indian nationals working for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) broadcast company have been sent back to India. The move follows government instructions for the immediate departure of Indian nationals from Pakistan. According to SP Cantt Ali Raza, the 18 individuals were sent back through the Wagah border, marking the latest step in ongoing border control measures.

Border officials confirmed that 288 Indian nationals, including those from the PSL broadcast company, left Pakistan for India yesterday. The same day, 190 Pakistani citizens returned home, and transit activities at the Wagah border were temporarily suspended due to the large-scale movement.

Despite the setback, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has assured fans that alternative broadcasters have been arranged. All matches of the ongoing PSL will be broadcast as scheduled, with no disruption to the games or their coverage.

The return of Indian nationals and the suspension of certain border activities reflect the heightened political and diplomatic situation between the two countries, though the sporting calendar will continue uninterrupted for fans.
