New Delhi: The Indian opposition party Congress has sharply criticized the Narendra Modi-led government over the deadly Pahalgam attack, calling it a result of intelligence failure and a serious lapse in security. In a statement released by the party, Congress officials demanded a thorough investigation into the incident and called for a comprehensive analysis of the failures that led to the attack.

The Pahalgam attack, which occurred two days ago, saw 26 people killed at a popular tourist destination in the Pahalgam district of occupied Kashmir.
