Court Extends Dukki Bhai’s Remand in Gambling App Case

A Lahore local court has extended the physical remand of YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, popularly known as Dukki Bhai, for two more days in a case related to promoting the use of a gambling app.

Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo presided over the hearing, where the National Cybercrime Investigation Agency produced the accused following the completion of his initial remand.

During the proceedings, the investigating officer informed the court that funds had been transferred abroad from the YouTuber’s account. He argued that further physical remand was required to investigate potential money laundering and trace the financial transactions linked to the case.

Accepting the request, the court granted a two-day extension in remand. The National Cybercrime Investigation Agency has formally registered a case against Saad-ur-Rehman under relevant sections of the law.

The case has sparked discussions about online influencers promoting illegal apps and the potential legal consequences for digital creators who use their platforms irresponsibly.
