Imran Khan Condemns Propaganda Accounts, Reaffirms PTI's Support for Negotiations

Faisal Chaudhry, the lawyer of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, addressed the media on recent developments involving social media accounts spreading propaganda about Arab countries and other sensitive issues. Chaudhry emphasized that Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister and PTI leader, has explicitly condemned these accounts and clarified that PTI has no connection with them.

Speaking to reporters, Chaudhry stated that Imran Khan had condemned social media accounts that were spreading false and inflammatory narratives about Arab nations, particularly with respect to personal matters involving PTI members such as Bushra Bibi and national martyrs. The PTI founder has taken a clear stance against such misleading campaigns and reaffirmed that the party does not support any such propaganda.

Chaudhry further elaborated that Khan supports negotiations to address Pakistan's key issues, particularly those surrounding the country's political and economic crises. He underscored that the PTI founder has shown openness to dialogue and negotiations, stressing the importance of a sincere and serious negotiation process facilitated by the government's negotiation team.

In this regard, Chaudhry criticized the absence of a formal meeting between the founder and the government’s negotiation committee, calling it an attempt to derail the ongoing peace talks. He urged both sides to ensure that such meetings take place promptly to bring about a resolution to the pressing issues.

On the matter of missing persons, Faisal Chaudhry announced that Imran Khan had established a special committee, headed by Qazi Anwar, to investigate the cases of missing persons. He confirmed that the committee's report is expected to be completed by Sunday, and that PTI will continue to press for accountability and justice on this sensitive issue.

Chaudhry concluded by reaffirming that PTI is committed to the wellbeing of Pakistan and its citizens. He emphasized that any propaganda or misleading information circulated on social media platforms does not reflect PTI’s values or stance. Imran Khan remains focused on working through peaceful means to address the challenges facing the nation.
