Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif took to social media platform X to extend his congratulations to Narendra Modi for his historic third consecutive term as Prime Minister of India. "Warm congratulations to Modi for becoming the Prime Minister for the third consecutive time," Sharif wrote.
He emphasized that this electoral victory is a clear indication of the confidence that the Indian populace places in Modi’s leadership. Sharif expressed a desire to shift from a past filled with hostility to a future brimming with hope and collaborative development for the betterment of the two billion people in the region.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also extended his congratulations to Modi and wished him success in his continued leadership.
It is noteworthy that Narendra Modi took his oath as Prime Minister in New Delhi yesterday, making him only the second Indian Prime Minister to achieve this milestone of being elected for three consecutive terms.
