OGRA Announces December LPG Price Hike: Domestic Cylinder Now Rs 2,466.10

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased LPG prices for December, impacting consumers across the country. According to the official notification, the price per kilogram of LPG has been raised by Rs 7.39, bringing the new rate to Rs 209 per kilogram.

The domestic LPG cylinder has also seen a significant increase, rising by Rs 87.21 compared to November. The price of a domestic cylinder for December has been fixed at Rs 2,466.10, up from Rs 2,378.89 last month.

In November, the price per kilogram was Rs 201, highlighting a steady upward trend in LPG costs. Consumers have expressed concern over repeated price increases, emphasizing the strain on household budgets amid rising living costs.

OGRA officials stated that these adjustments are made in line with international LPG market rates and currency fluctuations. However, the repeated hikes have raised public concerns about affordability and energy costs for households nationwide.
