Pakistan has emerged victorious in the Blind T20 Cricket World Cup, claiming the title with a resounding 10-wicket win over Bangladesh in the final on Tuesday.
Bangladesh Sets a Target of 140 Runs
Batting first, Bangladesh’s blind cricket team posted a total of 139 runs for 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Arif Hussain was the standout performer for Bangladesh, scoring 54 runs and anchoring the innings.
Pakistan’s Dominant Chase
In response, Pakistan's blind cricket team made quick work of the target, chasing down the required runs in just 11 overs. Nisar Ali played a brilliant knock, finishing unbeaten on 72 runs. He was supported by Muhammad Safdar, who contributed 47 runs, also remaining not out, as Pakistan achieved the target without losing any wickets.
Outstanding Bowling Performance
With the ball, Babar Ali shone for Pakistan, taking 2 wickets. Muhammad Salman and Matiullah also contributed with a wicket each, helping restrict Bangladesh's total and setting the stage for a comfortable chase.
