A special double-header is being held today at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi as part of the Pakistan Super League, with the matches dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer.
The first game will feature Hyderabad Kings Men against Rawalpindi, followed by a second match between Karachi Kings and Islamabad United.
To support the cause, all players and match officials will wear pink caps and ribbons, symbolizing solidarity with breast cancer awareness efforts. The initiative aims to highlight the importance of early detection and public education around the disease.
The pink theme will extend beyond attire, as match stumps and broadcast graphics will also appear in pink to reinforce the campaign’s message throughout the event.
In addition, members of the Pakistan women’s cricket team, including captain Fatima Sana, along with players Syeda Aroob Shah, Rameen Shamim, and Muneeba Ali, have been invited to the stadium to support the awareness campaign, where they will also take part in pre-match training sessions as part of the initiative.
