Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Chief of the Sunni Ittehad Council, officially confirmed that formal talks between the government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are set to begin today. However, shortly after his announcement, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar denied that the talks would commence as scheduled, citing that the government has not made any contact with the PTI for initiating the talks.

Sahibzada Hamid Raza, while speaking to the media, confirmed that the discussions between the government and PTI will officially start today. He mentioned that a 5-member PTI committee will hold talks with the government committee as part of the negotiation process.
