HEALTH
Contrary to recent concerns raised about the health of PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, sources inside Adiala Jail have confirmed that he is not suffering from any serious medical conditions. According to these sources, Khan's overall health is stable, with normal blood pressure and a regular ECG. Additionally, his blood sugar levels are under control.
While Imran Khan’s physical health appears to be in good condition, sources have noted an increase in his irritability, which could potentially lead to psychological challenges. Medical experts inside the prison are closely monitoring his condition.
Previous Health Concerns Addressed
Reports suggest that a few months ago, Khan experienced toothache, which has since subsided. He had also complained of back pain and hemorrhoids during his pre-arrest bail application in March last year, but he has not mentioned these issues since being incarcerated in Adiala Jail.
Despite claims about his deteriorating health made by Barrister Saif, Advisor to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government, sources say Imran Khan has not faced any significant health issues since his imprisonment. Geo News (Jang/The News) reached out to the prison authorities following Barrister Saif’s comments, but Saif was unavailable for further clarification.
Routine in Jail
According to sources, there has been no significant change in Imran Khan's daily routine within Adiala Jail. His meals continue to be prepared by his personal staff, and the prison hospital doctors ensure that the food is healthy before it is served to him.
While his physical health remains stable, the prison administration is keeping a close watch on his psychological state to ensure that increased irritability does not escalate into more serious mental health concerns.
