POLITICS & POLICY MAKING

Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has hailed the ban on the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and other organizations as a significant diplomatic victory for Pakistan.
Speaking exclusively to SAMAA, Chaudhry said the decision to impose sanctions on these groups was made on the basis of credible evidence, citing cases ranging from Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav to the Jafar Express attack. He described these banned outfits as “proxies of Hindustani sedition” and said the move reflected the success of Pakistan’s narrative on the global stage.
“The whole world has accepted Pakistan’s stance, and once again, India has faced defeat in the diplomatic arena,” he said, adding that the achievement came in a short span of time, both in matters of defense and trade.
The Minister credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar for their roles in achieving the breakthrough. He noted that General Munir’s two visits to the United States and Ishaq Dar’s diplomatic engagements with US officials had been instrumental in strengthening ties.
Chaudhry further emphasized that the Prime Minister’s team had not only restored Pakistan-US relations but had taken them to “new heights.”
The statement comes as Pakistan continues to strengthen its diplomatic position globally, particularly in the fight against terrorism and in countering hostile narratives.
