Tensions Rise as PTI's Umar Ayub Exposes Alleged Officer Misconduct; Calls for Supreme Court Intervention

In a press conference, Umar Ayub, the nominated opposition leader from Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stirred tensions as he exposed what he claims to be misconduct by officers in uniform, including the Islamabad Inspector General (IG). Ayub asserted that the faces of several officers, including the IGs of the Parliamentary Committee in Punjab and Islamabad, have been unveiled, and accountability measures will be pursued.

Addressing the press, Ayub emphasized the surge in human rights violations in Pakistan, calling for the Supreme Court to take notice of the situation. He accused the Islamabad IG of aligning with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and labeled officers as "dacoits sitting in police uniforms."

Furthermore, Umar Ayub raised concerns about social media censorship and expressed his intention to advocate for the release of imprisoned workers, including PTI Chairman Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. Ayub clarified that Bushra Bibi should not be perceived as a weakness of Imran Khan.

Simultaneously, Chairman PTI, Barrister Gauhar Khan, urged the Supreme Court to intervene and address all cases against the founder of PTI that, according to him, were conducted in an unconstitutional manner. The political climate intensifies as PTI leaders call for judicial scrutiny and accountability. #PTI #Accountability #SupremeCourt
