Cairo: A submarine accident off the coast of Hurghada, Egypt, has resulted in the tragic deaths of several foreign tourists, while 19 others have been injured, according to state-owned newspaper Akhbar Al-Youm.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. The injured have been transported to nearby hospitals, while the bodies of the deceased have also been recovered.
