Witness Yakub Gadani has recorded a statement under Section 164 in the Mirpur Mathelo court, implicating Khalid Lind's sons in the journalist's killing.
According to Yakub Gadani's statement, Nasrullah Gowani was murdered at the church of MNA Khalid Lind, allegedly in the presence of Khalid Lind and his sons. The witness further claims that guards of Khalid Lind's sons fired upon Nasrullah Gadani during the incident.
The witness detailed that on May 21, accused individuals Asghar Lind and Barkat Lind attacked Nasrullah Gadani. The statement under Section 164 was recorded following a court directive in response to requests from the journalist's relatives.
The case has drawn attention due to its implications involving prominent local figures, sparking concerns over press freedom and security for journalists in the region.
