Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Sardar Ahmad Shakib, visited the Iranian Embassy in Islamabad to express condolences over the passing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. During his visit, Ambassador Shakib met with Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moqadam and recorded a heartfelt message in the embassy’s condolence book.
Speaking on the occasion, the Afghan envoy expressed sympathy on behalf of the people and government of Afghanistan. He emphasized that Afghanistan stands with Iran during these difficult times, reaffirming the historic ties and friendship between the two neighboring countries.
The visit highlights Afghanistan’s commitment to regional solidarity and the strengthening of diplomatic relations amid challenging circumstances for Iran.
