Ali Tareen has announced his departure from the Multan Sultans franchise, expressing heartfelt gratitude and pride in being associated with the team.

Addressing fans and media, Tareen described his time with Multan Sultans as the “greatest honor of my life” and emphasized that the franchise represents far more than just financial figures. He highlighted his deep connection to South Punjab, a legacy he shares with his late uncle Alamgir Tareen, and expressed pride in representing the region.

Despite experiencing financial losses, Tareen said he never considered leaving the team earlier, underscoring that the Multan Sultans belong as much to the fans and South Punjab as to the owners. He also assured that he would fully support the new management as they take charge of the franchise moving forward.
