The process to launch satellite internet services in Pakistan has entered its final stage as regulatory approvals move toward completion.
Officials say that relevant authorities are reviewing technical, legal, and security requirements before granting final clearance for the service.
Once approved, satellite-based internet is expected to significantly improve connectivity across the country, particularly in remote and rural areas where traditional broadband access remains limited or unreliable.
Experts believe the introduction of this technology will strengthen Pakistan’s digital infrastructure and create new opportunities in education, business, and the technology sector. It is also expected to help reduce the digital divide by expanding internet access to underserved regions.
Authorities are currently completing the final licensing and approval steps before officially launching the service for public use.
