Hamid Khan Group’s candidate, Asif Niswana, has been elected as the President of the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) in the recently held elections.
The elections took place on Saturday, witnessing a closely contested battle between Asif Niswana and Asma Jahangir Group’s Saqib Akram Gondal. According to the final results, Niswana secured victory with 7,050 votes, while Gondal followed closely with 6,460 votes.
In addition to the presidential race, Abdul Rehman Ranjha was elected as the Vice President of the association.
The Lahore High Court Bar Association elections are a significant event in the legal fraternity, shaping the leadership that represents lawyers in one of Pakistan’s most influential courts.
