Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Commits PPP Support to Government's APC on Operation Resolute Stability

Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari declared the party's unwavering support for the government's All Parties Conference (APC) on Operation Resolute Stability during a press conference at Governor House, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Bilawal highlighted that the current government stands on the votes of the PPP and confirmed that the PPP will send a delegation to participate in the APC. The conference aims to address national security and political stability, with PPP eager to share its suggestions and concerns.

“PPP has always engaged in positive politics. We don’t believe in backbiting; people trust our representatives to resolve issues,” Bilawal stated. He emphasized the need to combat the prevalent politics of hatred and ego with traditional, democratic approaches.

Bilawal Bhutto expressed concerns over the rising tide of non-political and non-democratic politics, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and reaffirmed the PPP’s commitment to positive and constructive political engagement.

Addressing the multitude of challenges facing Pakistan, Bilawal underscored the economic crisis, inflation, unemployment, and poverty affecting every Pakistani. He warned that if politicians fail to address these issues, they would face public backlash.

The PPP Chairman acknowledged the heroic efforts of Pakistan's security forces in combating terrorism and lamented the resurgence of terrorist organizations from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Balochistan due to previous government policies. He highlighted the necessity of mutual consultation and collaboration to tackle these issues effectively.

Bilawal also criticized the economic policies and assured that PPP's delegation in the APC will work towards ensuring that the decisions taken are in the best interest of the nation.

He concluded by calling for a unified approach to resolve Pakistan’s economic and security problems, emphasizing that genuine progress requires collective effort and political will.
