China Vows Support to Pakistan Against Terrorism

Karachi — Chinese Consul General Yundong Yang has reiterated China’s strong support for Pakistan’s fight against terrorism, expressing solidarity after the recent attack on a school van in Khuzdar.

Speaking at a ceremony at the Chinese Consulate in Karachi marking the 33rd anniversary of the Balochistan Economic Forum and the 12th year of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the Chinese diplomat condemned the terrorist act, which claimed the lives of innocent children.

Condemnation & Commitment:

“China strongly condemns the Khuzdar attack. Pakistan has already taken steps against terrorists, and China is ready to assist in dismantling terror networks,” said Yundong Yang.

The Consul General emphasized China's continued support to Pakistan in matters of internal and regional security.

Support for Pakistan’s Anti-Terror Efforts:

Yundong Yang expressed confidence in the Pakistani government’s resolve to combat terrorism, saying:

“We hope Pakistan will take concrete steps against terrorists. China will stand shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan in ensuring peace and security in the region.”

The Chinese official’s remarks come amid rising concerns over cross-border terrorism and as Pakistan intensifies operations against militants in Balochistan and elsewhere.
