CM Syed Murad Ali Shah to Review Kalri Baghar Feeder Repair and K-4 Project

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah is set to review the ongoing repair work of the Kalri Baghar feeder, a critical water supply channel that transports water from Kotri Barrage to Keenjhar Lake, located near Jharkhand. The Kalri Baghar feeder plays an essential role in ensuring the availability of water for irrigation, drinking, and other uses in the region.

During the review, officials from the Irrigation Department and the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KW&SB) will provide the Chief Minister with a detailed briefing on the progress of the repair work. This initiative is part of broader efforts to enhance water distribution systems and ensure sustainable water management in the province.

Additionally, the CM will receive updates on the K-4 project, which is aimed at improving Karachi’s water supply by providing an additional 260 million gallons of water per day to the city. The K-4 project is a significant infrastructure development designed to address Karachi’s growing water demand and alleviate the city's ongoing water shortage issues.

The Chief Minister's inspection and discussions are expected to pave the way for more effective solutions to water-related challenges and ensure timely completion of both the repair work on the Kalri Baghar feeder and the K-4 project.
