An officer from the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Balochistan police was seriously injured in an armed assault by unidentified assailants on Thursday night in Khuzdar. The incident occurred in the Jhalawan Complex area of the town, where two armed men on a motorcycle opened fire on Assistant Sub-Inspector Ibrahim Sheikh, leaving him with multiple bullet wounds.
