The US presidential election, held across all 50 states, saw a massive turnout, with over 78.9 million people casting their votes. Trump, the Republican candidate, received a total of 692,042,911 votes, while his opponent, Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate, earned 64,052,768 votes.
