Dr. Naik expressed his enthusiasm for the meeting, stating, "It was my wish to meet Maulana Fazlur Rehman. Today, that wish has been fulfilled." Their discussions highlighted the need for unity and joint efforts in tackling contemporary challenges, including socio-political issues and promoting Islamic values.
In a separate development, Pakistani YouTuber Nadir Ali made headlines by becoming the first Pakistani host to interview Dr. Zakir Naik. Known for his engaging podcasts, Nadir asked Naik about his childhood, his return to India, and various personal matters. Notably, during the interview, Naik criticized Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the ongoing atrocities in Occupied Kashmir.
Reflecting on his life since leaving India, Naik shared, "It was painful to leave India. What I missed the most is religious gatherings in India." He also noted the overwhelming response he received after relocating, stating, “I had over 500 invitations to visit Pakistan after leaving India out of a total of 5,000 invitations.” This indicates the significant interest and support he has garnered from the Pakistani community.
