Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan issued a forceful call for Muslim unity during a special meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul, warning that Israeli aggression against Iran and Gaza is dragging the region toward widespread devastation.
In his address to the OIC Foreign Ministers’ Special Meeting, Erdogan stated, “Netanyahu and Hitler both aim to push this region toward destruction. If we don't unite now, there may be nothing left to unite later.”
Condemnation of Israeli Aggression
Erdogan condemned Israel's continued bombardment of Gaza and its recent strikes inside Iran, describing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government as the greatest obstacle to peace in the Middle East.
He added, “From Yemen to Libya, Syria to Iran, Israel’s trail of destruction is undeniable. We stand with our Iranian brothers and sisters.”
Call for Muslim Solidarity
Highlighting the urgency of the moment, Erdogan emphasized that the time to put aside internal divisions among Muslim countries has arrived.
“Muslim unity is no longer a choice, it is a necessity. The region cannot afford further war or instability. Diplomacy must take precedence over destruction.”
Erdogan reiterated Turkey’s long-standing support for a two-state solution in Palestine and called on the international community to take decisive steps to halt Israeli aggression before the region faces irreparable damage.

· Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi is attending the summit and has defended Iran’s right to retaliate against what he called Israeli provocations.
· Pakistan is represented by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, who sat alongside Araqchi during the session and is expected to formally present Pakistan’s stance on the Iran-Israel conflict.

Iranian FM: “We Cannot Negotiate Under Bombs”
Speaking to the press ahead of the OIC meeting, FM Abbas Araqchi said Israel’s recent airstrikes were clearly timed to derail upcoming nuclear diplomacy talks with the U.S. and Europe.
“We can’t enter negotiations when our people are under bombardment,” he said, calling the Israeli attacks a deliberate sabotage of diplomacy.
