Field Marshal Asim Munir Warns India: ‘No Room for War in a Nuclear Environment’

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has warned the Indian military leadership that there is no room for war between the two countries in a nuclear environment, emphasizing Pakistan’s readiness to defend every inch of its territory.

Addressing the passing-out parade at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, the Army Chief lauded the nation’s unwavering support during Operation Banyan Marsus, saying it further strengthened the bond between the people and the armed forces.

“The nation stood like steel with its army,” he said. “We defended our borders with determination and professionalism, shooting down enemy aircraft and neutralizing hostile bases, including S-400 systems.”

He added that India’s “self-made evidence” and baseless allegations expose the political motives of the ruling party in New Delhi. “Pakistan’s victory against a numerically larger enemy has earned global respect,” he said, reaffirming that the Pakistan Army remains the guardian of national pride and sovereignty.

Field Marshal Asim Munir vowed that not “even an inch of the sacred land” would be allowed to fall into enemy hands, paying tribute to the sacrifices of soldiers, citizens, and martyrs who defended the homeland.

Highlighting Pakistan’s credible deterrence and constant readiness, he warned that any future aggression by India would be met with a response “far more severe than expected.”

“Our defense doctrine covers all capabilities. The military and economic losses we can inflict will exceed India’s expectations,” he asserted. “In a nuclear environment, there is no space for war. India must resolve issues through dialogue and equality.”

The Army Chief stressed that attempts to create rifts between the people and armed forces will fail, saying Pakistan’s enemies seek to destabilize internal unity.

He also touched upon Pakistan’s evolving global role, noting improved relations with Muslim countries, China, and a renewed engagement with the United States. He commended President Trump’s leadership in promoting global peace and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peace in Gaza and Kashmir.

“Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir remains firm and principled,” he declared. “We will continue to extend moral, diplomatic, and political support to the Kashmiri people.”

Field Marshal Munir further highlighted defense cooperation with Saudi Arabia, the peace process with Iran, and Pakistan’s growing participation in UN peacekeeping missions.

He condemned India’s use of “Fitnatul Hind” and “Fitnatul Khawarij” as hired proxies, urging Afghanistan’s leadership to curb non-state actors using Afghan soil for terrorism against Pakistan.

“The Pakistan Army is vigilant on every front,” he concluded. “Our flag will always fly high.”

The grand parade included cadets from 40 friendly nations, including Iraq, Sri Lanka, Qatar, Bangladesh, and Nigeria. Field Marshal Munir awarded medals, swords, and shields to outstanding cadets during the ceremony.
