Karachi experienced its first winter rain on Saturday morning, bringing a welcome respite from the heat and cooling down various parts of the city. Light drizzles were reported in areas such as Gulshan-e-Maymar, Baldia Town, Orangi Town, North Nazimabad, and Nhamshid Chowrangi, bringing a sense of relief to the citizens. Other areas, including Federal B Area, MA Jinnah Road, Shara Faisal, University Road, Scheme 33, and Surjani, also saw light rainfall, which heightened the excitement of the weekend for many.
As the temperatures dropped, Karachiites pulled out their leather jackets, embracing the cooler weather. The rain has significantly improved the atmosphere, making it more comfortable for outdoor activities, with the pleasant drizzle adding to the charm of the day.
Meanwhile, in Balochistan, the Quetta Valley and surrounding areas received the first snowfall of the season.
