Amiri, Balochistan: A roadside bomb blast in the Kabuto area of rural Balochistan has claimed the lives of four people, including two women and children, while five others have been seriously injured. The explosion, caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) planted along Kabuto Road near Amiri, completely destroyed a vehicle and sent shockwaves through the surrounding area.
According to Levies officials, the intensity of the blast was so powerful that it blew off the vehicle’s tires, leaving behind a scene of devastation. The explosion occurred in a densely populated area, resulting in widespread panic among locals.
Immediately after the blast, teams from Levies and other law enforcement agencies arrived at the site to begin rescue operations. The injured were rushed to DHQ Hospital for initial medical care before being transferred to Quetta for further treatment.
The explosion has sparked concerns about the security situation in Balochistan, where such attacks have become a persistent challenge. Authorities are investigating the incident, and no group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
