In the £190 million case, the counsel representing former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi has requested the court to adjourn the upcoming May 7 hearing.
According to the details, the lawyer informed the court that he is not formally authorized to argue the main appeals in the case, and therefore sought more time or an adjournment of the proceedings. The request comes ahead of key hearings related to the high-profile corruption case involving allegations of financial irregularities.
The court was informed about the limitations in legal representation, which led to the plea for postponement. The case, commonly referred to as the £190 million reference, has been under continuous judicial proceedings and remains one of the most closely watched cases involving the PTI leadership.
