Former Prime Minister Imran Khan and other prisoners at Adiala Jail have been banned from meeting each other until October 18, 2024. This decision affects all forms of meetings, including those involving party leaders, lawyers, and family members of Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi.

 

Sources within the jail indicate that the ban has been imposed due to heightened security concerns. The Punjab government has implemented these measures as part of a broader strategy to ensure safety and security in the twin cities, particularly in connection with the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit set to take place in Islamabad.
