Imran Khan Expels Sher Afzal Marwat from PTI Over Disciplinary Violations

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has expelled Sher Afzal Marwat from the party due to repeated violations of party discipline, according to sources.

Reasons Behind the Expulsion

Sources indicate that Marwat had previously received a show-cause notice for making statements against PTI leadership. However, his recent speech at a Swabi rally reportedly angered the party leadership, prompting his removal.

A formal notification confirming the termination of his basic party membership will be issued soon.

Will Sher Afzal Marwat Resign as MNA?

As per sources, following his expulsion, PTI is expected to ask Sher Afzal Marwat to resign from his position as Member of the National Assembly (MNA).

Internal Complaints Against Marwat

🔹 Several PTI leaders had complained to Imran Khan about Marwat’s behavior.
🔹 His speech at the Swabi rally was deemed unnecessary and against party policy.
🔹 The party leadership had warned him before but decided to take final action after continued violations.
