Interim Bail Extended for MNA Khalid Lund and Sons in Murder Case of Journalist Nasrullah Gadani

The interim bail of MNA Khalid Lund and his two sons, Shehbaz Lind and Noor Muhammad Lund, has been extended until August 17 in connection with the murder case of martyred journalist Nasrullah Gadani. The trio appeared before the court on Thursday, accompanied by hundreds of supporters.

During the court proceedings, investigating officer Siraj Lashari requested an additional week to present the challan (formal charge sheet) of the case. The court granted the request and ordered the investigating officer to return on August 7 to provide further updates.

In a statement to the media following the court appearance, MNA Khalid Lund maintained their innocence, asserting that they had no involvement in the murder. "We are innocent," Lind declared, emphasizing their commitment to clearing their names.

Salahuddin Panhor, the lawyer representing the relatives of the late Nasrullah Gadani, criticized the actions of the accused and their supporters. Panhor alleged that the large presence of Lind’s supporters at the court was an attempt to intimidate and harass the plaintiffs.

The case has attracted significant media attention and public interest, highlighting ongoing concerns about justice and the rule of law in high-profile murder investigations. As the legal process continues, the focus remains on ensuring a fair and thorough investigation into the tragic death of journalist Nasrullah Gadani.
