Iran has confirmed the death of its Intelligence Minister, Esmail Khatib, in an attack carried out by Israel. Iranian media and President Masoud Peshkerkian have both confirmed the minister’s martyrdom, describing the strike as part of ongoing hostilities in the region.
According to Iranian officials, the Israeli operation targeted Khatib directly, marking a significant escalation amid continued military pressure from Israel and the United States.
