Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has intensified Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach by engaging with key international counterparts to discuss the evolving regional and global situation.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Kaja Kallas, Vice President of the European Union, where both leaders exchanged views on recent developments in the region as well as broader global challenges.
During the discussion, Dar emphasised the urgent need to reduce tensions and highlighted that sustainable peace and stability can only be achieved through dialogue and diplomacy. Both sides agreed to remain in close contact and continue consultations on key international issues.
In a separate call, Ishaq Dar also spoke with Mohamad Hasan, the Foreign Minister of Malaysia. The two leaders reviewed recent regional and international developments, focusing on the importance of diplomatic engagement in addressing emerging challenges.
Both Pakistan and Malaysia reiterated their commitment to peaceful conflict resolution, stressing that negotiations and constructive dialogue remain the most effective tools for de-escalation.
The series of high-level contacts reflects Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to play a proactive diplomatic role amid increasing global uncertainty. By engaging with key international partners, Islamabad aims to promote dialogue, reduce tensions, and contribute to regional and global stability.
