Five judges of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) have formally raised concerns over the recently issued seniority list of judges.

According to sources, a representation against the seniority list has been submitted to Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court, Aamir Farooq. A copy of the representation has also been forwarded to Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Yahya Afridi.

The judges challenging the seniority list include:

  • Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri
  • Justice Babar Sattar
  • Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan

Sources indicate that separate representations are also expected from Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir.
