Karachi Court Acquits Natasha Danish in Karsaz Accident Murder Case Following Settlement

A Karachi district and sessions court on Thursday acquitted Natasha Danish in the high-profile Karsaz Road accident case following a settlement between the involved parties. Danish had been charged with manslaughter for an August 19 incident in which her speeding vehicle struck three motorcycles and another car, killing Imran Arif, 60, and his daughter Amna, 22.

While Danish had already secured bail in the murder case in September, a separate drug case is ongoing due to a medical report indicating she was under the influence of narcotics at the time of the accident. Advocate Amir Mansoob Qureshi, her attorney, expressed hope for her acquittal in the drug case, stating that if the principal offense was dismissed, the subsequent charges may also be resolved.

The Karsaz case has sparked discussions on road safety, accountability, and judicial processes in Karachi
