Khawaja Saad Rafique Hospitalized, Later Discharged After Cardiac Checkup

Senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former federal minister Khawaja Saad Rafique was suddenly taken ill during Friday prayers and was immediately shifted to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) for medical examination and treatment.

According to family sources, Khawaja Saad Rafique was brought to the hospital after experiencing a rapid heartbeat. At PIC, he underwent several tests including an ECG, which showed signs of improvement after prompt medical attention.

The Executive Director of PIC confirmed that Khawaja Saad Rafique was discharged after receiving appropriate treatment. Doctors advised him to take mental peace and adequate rest to ensure a smooth recovery.

Expressing gratitude, Khawaja Saad Rafique thanked his friends, supporters, and well-wishers for their prayers and good wishes. PML-N party leaders and workers have also extended their heartfelt wishes for his speedy recovery.

The former federal minister assured the public that he is in stable condition and will follow doctors' instructions for rest and recuperation.
