NAB to Auction Bahria Town Properties on June 12 Under Accountability Ordinance

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has announced that several properties of Bahria Town will be auctioned under Section 33E of the National Accountability Ordinance (NAO) 1999. The auction is scheduled to take place at the NAB Regional Office in Islamabad on June 12 at 11:00 AM.

According to NAB, the properties up for auction include high-profile commercial and entertainment assets located in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

The following properties will be part of the auction:

·       Bahria Town Corporate Office at Plot No. 7-E, Park Road, Phase II, Bahria Town

·       Bahria Town Corporate Office II at Plot No. 7-D, Park Road, Phase II, Bahria Town

·       Rubish Marquee and Lawn near Bahria Garden City Golf Course, Islamabad

·       Arena Cinema, Plot No. 984, Board A, Bahria Town Phase IV, Rawalpindi

·       Safari Club, Plot No. 27, Safari Villas One, Bahria Town, Rawalpindi

NAB has stated that a briefing session will be organized at the regional office for interested buyers, where details of the auction process and terms of sale will be explained.

The auction is part of NAB’s broader accountability process aimed at recovering state assets and ensuring transparency in real estate transactions involving controversial developments.
