Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, met with Commander Royal Saudi Land Forces, Lieutenant General Fahd bin Saud, at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi to discuss matters of mutual interest and regional security.
Upon arrival, Lt. Gen. Fahd bin Saud was received with a ceremonial guard of honor, reflecting the longstanding cordial relations between the armed forces of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the two military leaders discussed strategies to promote defense cooperation, including intelligence sharing, joint training exercises, and professional collaboration. Both sides reiterated their commitment to strengthening the brotherly ties between the two countries’ armed forces.
Field Marshal Munir expressed satisfaction with the robust defense collaboration and highlighted the importance of continuing mutual cooperation in training and intelligence exchange. In response, Lt. Gen. Fahd bin Saud praised the Pakistan Army’s professionalism and acknowledged Pakistan’s positive role in ensuring peace and stability in the region.
