Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Mohammad Sadiq, has arrived in Kabul on a three-day visit to hold key discussions with the Afghan interim government. The visit, conducted on the instructions of Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, aims to enhance diplomatic ties and promote cooperation between the two neighboring countries.
Upon his arrival, Mohammad Sadiq met with Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Muttaqi, where both sides agreed to strengthen bilateral relations through high-level engagements. The talks focused on improving communication channels, fostering economic cooperation, and addressing regional security concerns.
According to a Foreign Office spokesperson, Sadiq Khan’s visit, scheduled from March 21 to 23, is part of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to maintain constructive dialogue with Afghanistan’s leadership. The spokesperson emphasized that Pakistan remains committed to strengthening relations with Afghanistan, ensuring mutual stability, and enhancing trade and security cooperation.
